Abstract |
Ventilation insufficiency result in high insulation, airtightness of building envelope and emission of toxic substance from building material have been polluting indoor air quality(IAQ). In response to 'Sick House Syndrome' causing a harmful effect on occupant's health, it is required to have guideline of ventilation design to ensure healthy IAQ In order to provide desirable IAQ for occupants, should establish natural ventilation design which be able to control pollutants by decreasing pollution level of indoor air in spreading?exhausting of pollutants through planning layout, opening. Accordingly, this study evaluated IAQ by plan layout of apartment units, made suggestions on ways to improve the existing problems. The purpose of this study is to support decision making in ventilation design considering IAQ to get optimum air environment in early stage of designing of apartment housing. With CFD analysis, airflow pattern, velocity, ventilation efficiency, pollution level is analyzed as subject of the 2-Bay, 3-Bay, 4-Bay in 80㎡ of apartment housing. Though grasping the problems by plan layout of apartment units, presented and verified improvement. Pollution concentration is analyzed 2~3 times of standard value HCHO=0.1ppm, TVOC=0.4ppm in case of applying excellent materials on the surface area. Average SVE3 of CASE 2, CASE 3 is higher than one of CASE 1 because air-accumulated bathroom, entrance of CASE 2, CASE 3 is larger than ones of CASE 1. It is verified that design keeping healthy IAQ is possible in making cross-ventilation available main airflow, improving ventilation efficiency through setting size and position of openings keeping space and function of existing design. |
