Abstract |
Buffer in construction means a cushion that prevents planned project schedule from uncertainty. Traditional buffer management, however, often fails to perform an aim of buffer that is to protect the project schedule. To make matters worse, it makes an efficiency of schedule management low. To address this problem, this paper focused on how buffer be made and changed according to project progress. In addition, aggressive buffer control for reliable construction schedule management was proposed. Aggressive buffer control is composed of making, protecting, executing, reinforcing reliable schedule. The framework of aggressive buffering will contribute to reduce project duration and improve quality. |
