Abstract This thesis expands the vision of the tendency of 'Commodity of behavior' from commercial spaces to the current urban architecture. The concept of 'Commodity of behavior' can be explained by combination of the three modes, which are activity, space and the connection of space. Activity type can be categorised by subject, character and media type. The mode of space would be categorised by scale and shape. and finally a way of connection type are determined by how the spaces gathered each other. Such the type of activity, space, and the connection of space can be symbolised that can be more easily to describe than full-text commentation. This combination could offer tools of analysing a certain 'Commodity of behavior'. and could make some 'new' space by re-combination of three modes. The expanding trends of 'Commodity of behavior' can change our cities in three ways. One is an increasing of the 'closed' space, which deepen the desire be more sensual. Another is accelerating the tendency of combination of heterogeneous element. that is triggered by the technology of Multi-tasking. and final one is ambivalence of public field of city which can be not only as pulic but also as private.
