| Abstract |
In stone pagoda the interior space and the door are called the Gamsil(龕室) and Munbi(門扉). The origin of Gamsil and Munbi could become brick or wooden pagoda. There hasn`t been any detailed research and review for Gamsil and Munbi but a bit of comments at ground of the art history. The Gamsil and Munbi to stone pagoda is not an interpretation as a simple grand sculpture but should be analysed in a view point of architecture to express interior spaces and function of it.
Therefore, it is considered that further research for the modification of Gamsil and Munbi is needed, and meaning as an interior space should be reinterpreted. |
