Abstract In domestic, there are some attempt to reuse water with sludge as combinative water for ready mixed concrete and it is stipulated that solidity in sludge have to be lower than 3% in its weight in the KS from attachment of F 4009-2. But, about 78% of domestic ready mixed concrete company have the re-application equipment of all recycling water, so it is exceedingly higher than the criterion. Therefore, in this study, to reuse ready mixed concrete sludge produced from ready mixed concrete factory, at frist, we gathered sludge and dried it and then grinded it. Then we heated in high temperature circumstances. In this fundamental study, we aims the hydrated ability recovery of ready mixed concrete sludge to investigate that it can be used for Cement binder. The test results of this study are as follows. As chemical formation of solidity in sludge is very similar to normal Potland Cement of it, CaO of Solidity in Ready mixed concrete sludge is low and SiO2 of solidity in sludge is 1.8times high in comparison with normal Portland cement. Density of sludge firing material is getting higher when heating temperature is getting high, Within the range of 2.77-2.94. The flow of mortar using sludge firing material as binder was not regularly changed. But comparatively it was comparatively high when sludge firing material was heated at 750℃ for 120min. and 800℃ for 180min. Because Compressive strength of mortar using sludge firing material is 5.3Mpa after 28 days, it can not be used alone. So it would be appropriate as a cement-product binder for cement mineral admixture and brick. After we have executed the Study, we found that Ready mixed concrete sludge recovered its hydrated ability. But it needs various supplementary studies as its compressive strength was quite low. Moreover, sludge can be used as recycle cement if the study on the recycle system during hydrated ability recovery period is processed and fine aggregate powder in sludge and impurities is removed.
