| Abstract |
Several project management softwares such as Primavera Project Planner, Microsoft Project, Nex-Pert, and etc. are used to manage construction projects. Most of major construction companies are known to use P3. These project management softwares are mainly used to control the schedules of the construction project and partially used to manage the costs of the project. But the softwares have difficulties to represent risks of the project in the construction schedules, so the risks are usually controlled by general risk management tools, checklists, or experts' experience.
The objective of this paper is to propose a tool that manages risks in a project management software. The tool is implemented by VBA(Visual Basic for Application) in Microsoft Project, and enables field managers of a construction project to make schedules and to help to predict risks. |
