| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to figure out how people recognize building image of exterior form of Catholic Church around the 1990's. For the date collection, a survey research along with a questionnaire was conducted on 34 exterior pictures of Catholic Churches in Diocese of Suwon for extracting images of church buildings. This investigation used various evaluation methods such as conceptual, taste images and impressions(used Factor analysis, Regression analysis, Cluster analysis, Reliability analysis etc.) about 34 slide pictures of Catholic Church buildings. In the present work, the SPSS window version 12.0 program was used for analysis of statistical data from survey. Based on the survey and analytical results, the following conclusions were made :
Comparison results of external catholic churches before and after 1990's, catholic churches before 1990's show that the religious image is more than decorative image, and after 1990's show that the decorative image is more than religious image with lower-image of religion. Catholic churches before 1990's was builded buildings of bell tower style more than after 1990's it. After 1990's, box style buildings(Catholic churches) increased more than before 1990's it. |
