Abstract Frank Lloyd Wright was one of the most famous architects who was as american as apple pie. Pragmatism was the movement about making 'American Philosophy' alike Wright's works of the same period. The results of this study are found by means of analysing Wright's works through pragmatism. The results are as follows : (1) Naturalism; Prospect-Refuge theory (2) Mediation of signs; Concepts about Organizing the Space (3) Pluralism; Pluralized Space (4) Individualized Experience; Possibility of Experience. His works were reflection of needs that was required by American environment of those days. Because of the adaptability for needs and changes, his works were got utility and were pragmatic at the same time.
