Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the functional factors of women’s hospital in accordance with the year of construction and size of the building for providing the basic data to plan for women’s hospital and remodeling thereto. The contents and methods of this study are: Firstly, review the functional factors of women’s hospital and tendency of trend. Secondly, 62 case study examines in order to type the functional unit in six fields(out-patient department, central diagnostic treatment, ward, exploration, service and management/supply) and then 25 case study calculate the area for each department. The result of the study are shown as follow. Firstly, it has been analyzed that there were many differences according to the constructional scale as well as the year of construction in terms of the functional change in women's hospital. Secondly, it has been found that the section showing the largest differences in accordance with the change in the constructional year was the central diagnostic treatment, for it has been supposed that the form of general childbirth changed into that of women in labor to have family participation. Thirdly, it has been noted that the section having the biggest differences according to the change in constructional scale was the service section, for it has been assumed that the demands for education as well as patients' rest have been on the increase. |
