Abstract The life span of igloo magazine is about 30 years, so it is economical compare to other kinds of magazine. Accordingly, after 1960, igloo magazines have been built, and a lot of ammunition have been deposited and managed in military bases. However, there are the layer of covering up seed with soil on the upper part of it, so it keeps the almost same value of temperature for the entire year, and it causes condensation on the surface of ammunition sometimes, especially during July and August, that have a lot of rain because it causes the increase of relative humidity by 90%.
This study is about proposing the advanced shape of igloo magazine, so the phenomenon of condensation happening was evaluated by the particular terms of time through the numerical analysis, and especially, optimum design that can decrease condensation was proposed through comparing factors of proposal each other.
