Abstract The Ministry of Construction and Transportation(MOCT) has implemented 'Post evaluation for public construction projects' to prevent inefficient construction implementation and to reuse valuable previous project information for future construction projects. However, current post evaluation regulation has several problems such as inappropriate evaluation timing and no standard evaluation procedure and methodology. Therefore, a post project evaluation report provide only descriptive statistics of a project. As a result, this research initiated for providing alternation of post evaluation regulations and evaluation methods. The results of this paper expect the following outcomes; 1) public construction project will be effectively implemented based on systematic post evaluation, 2) past project information collected by post evaluation will be used as lessons learned for next projects, and 3) an effective post evaluation system that includes past project information will be developed.
