Abstract The registered-properties guideline was adopted to preserve the facade of existing cultural assets with effect and alter the interior space freely. But many problems have been occurred over all the converted buildings with the passing of the years as a result of unfeasible design guidelines. Accordingly, the thesis proposes modification of several design guideline-assignment of a lot for display. Firstly, an exhibition is suitable for room size, and the circulation of exhibition is continuously connected with each room, considering the previous life-style. Secondly, the interior design elements are preserved, it is possible to put on one sided wall and island showcase display. Thirdly, the natural lighting system, preserved the existing window pattern, be equipped with apparatus for controlling the intensity of radiation.Therefore, this study is to suggest an assignment of conversion-museum transformed- design guideline for exhibition in missionary houses as well as the sustainable preservation of cultural assets as modern house.
