Abstract Recently, High-rise building construction is increasing in Korea. However, high-rise building construction duration is generally longer than other buildings, so efforts for reducing the high-rise building construction duration are needed. As the results of these efforts by Korean contractors, the 4 days is a general cycling time in the structural frame work for typical floor of high-rise building. However, Korean constructors are continually making efforts to reduce the cycling time, because they did not satisfied these results. Nowadays, some projects are partially accomplished in the 3 days cycle time. However, the developed studies for constructing by the 3 days cycle method in high-rise building are not yet explored. So, the purpose of this study is to analysis and explore the case study of 3 days cycle method in high-rise building, and to help the other high-rise building accomplishing 3 days cycle time. As the results of case study, the productivity of 3 days cycle method is approximately 10 percentages better than that of 4 day cycle. For accomplishing 3 day cycle method, construction management processes are planned and all participants should be following these processes. Then, the problems, which disturb to accomplish 3 days cycle time, are revealed by conducting these processes, and the solutions are found by efforts for developing the new technologies.
