Abstract |
This study is focused on the effects of the adjacent households according to the heating and cooling in the multi-stories apartment. We proposed the reference model in order to represent all households in apartment and performed the theoretical research on the patterns of energy consumption and zone temperature variation rate. The main results are as follows.1) In the natural temperature of each household, 4th floor was the highest and 1st floor was the lowest, and western households were the lowest and centers were the highest in the same floor. 2) In the variation rate of zone temperature when each household was air-conditioned, upper and lower adjacent households were effected variation rate more than 20% and eastern and western adjacent households were effected variation rate of about 7% in the 2nd and 3rd floor. But 4th floor households affected about 8.5% to the upper households and about 22% to the lower households. Otherwise, 5th floor households affected about 50% to the lower households and about 8% to the eastern and western adjacent households. 3) 5th floor was the highest total energy consumption and the next is 1st floor when all households were air-conditioned. But 5th floor was the highest total energy consumption and the next is 4th floor, etc. when each household was air-conditioned. And these values were different patterns comparing with the all households air conditioning because middle floors had much energy transfer from the adjacent households. Also households of the middle floors saved total energy consumption more than 40% and households of the 1st and 5th floors saved total energy consumption more than 20% comparing with the each household total energy consumption. Finally, further studies are required to the sensitivity analysis and analyze on the detailed model equipped floor heating system. |
