Abstract |
At the beginning, public libraries used to be a depository of the documents of high ranking class and religious records. Afterwards, public libraries have gone through various changes in the process of overcoming time and space limited by the characters of the information transformation and methods. As time goes by, the concept of information and methods got much extension. Now, the main flow of information environment is entering the ubiquitous revolution period. The development of new information technology and the characters of modern public libraries followed by the reception of new information are divided into two aspects of functional and spacial aspects. Therefore, the application of community space and the functional space is dealt with the diversity of information transforming.Accordingly, this study indicates the characters of transparency, openness, variableness, continuity, decentralization. It is based on the characters of modern public library and applicable ubiquitous technology examining the possibility of new user space. And it would give the space composition in case the ubiquitous technology applied. The purpose of this study is the applicable potentiality of ubiquitous technology which provides basic research with more various ways. |
