Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impacts of VVOCs and VOCs emission rates of finishing materials' on indoor air quality of Apartment. The measurements were consisted of two parts. One was the mock-up test and the second was the real monitoring in the apartment. The materials, which are labelled by Healthy Building Material mark, were finished in Mock-up test rooms and a apartment. The emission rates from finishing materials in both the mock-up and the apartment were measure by FLEC during about 40 days. And also, the indoor formaldehyde and VOCs' concentration were simultaneously monitored during about 40 days. From the results of the measurement, it is found that the mock-up rooms and the apartment finished by the super grade materials of HB mark are maintained under the indoor air quality guide line of Ministry of Environment of Korea. The measurement also showed that the bake-out effect of low emission materials is lower than those of high emission materials. |
