Abstract |
This study is to investigate the fundamental properties and durability of concrete applying the drying Shrinkage reducing type of superplasticizer(DSRS), and to find out the practicality of the agent. Test results showed that using DSRS in concrete had a favorable performance to maintain the fluidity and air content of fresh concrete with time elapse, as well as reducing bleeding capacity, when compared the value to that of conventional. Additionally, the compressive strength of specimens using DSRS indicated 10% higher value than others, while the length change ratio reduced 10 to 25%, due to the synergy effect by reduction of unit water weight and usage of an liquid expanding agent. Meanwhile, the results of frost and thawing test exhibited that using DSRS had similar tendency to conventional and control concrete. In addition, neutralization depth of the specimen adding DSRS was slightly deeper than conventional, and smaller than control concrete. Therefore, it is found that DSRS sufficiently secures the durability of concrete |
