Abstract |
Being the dispute discourse, the Grand narrative of the Modernism itself has been the spokesman of the capital intensive system. In the circulations of the consumption, the history of the Modern Society was the course of the check and balance between the Sulveillance and the Control, and the contrary power of the citizens. the most precedent studies are basically based on analysis of the superficial and external phenomenon of architecture, regardless of the analysis of the fundamental economic evolutionary view. Now, the phenomen of Being Mall of architectural space is shown everywhere in the world. This phenomenon is progressing into the large-scale commercial Mall in contemporary architecture. We can confirm the situation of these moods with the skillful comercial intentions. This study will focus first on the production and consumption system, and then, the dynamics for the changing methodology of the Mall-ization. With the speculation of the history of the Being Mall phenomenon, I expect to find out what is the relationship of the surveilance and control of the space and shirinkage of the Public Space. |
