| Abstract |
The study intends to analyze city hall district in view of centrality and integrity, and to suggest a tool to understand and improve the district. In the process we sought elements that reveal city characteristics, studied criteria kept in the relocation project of city hall. Detailed criteria were delved on centrality via district location and morphology analysis; on integrity via sets of integration value from Space Syntax Analysis of road network.We applied detailed criteria composed of 10 elements to 27 city hall districts in Kyunggi-do and to 3 cities for in-depth chronological analysis. The comparative analysis revealed each city the condition and problem of city hall district, and implied the element to improve. |
