Abstract A high-temperature effect of urban due to industrialization and urbanization contributes a significant effect on urban environment, migration decline of sensible and latent heat in accordance with a heat island effect and ground surface change. The results of the study are as following. First. The characteristics of urban thermal environment according to land usage on AWS region can be determined by looking at the behavior of temperature changes shown on a clear day during summer season. Second. For the relationship between land usage changes and urban thermal environment on AWS region, the study have determined that increase in urban heat occurs when the land-cover of city center exceed 50%. Third. Result of simulation conducted to determine the characteristics of heat environment in accordance with land usage had shown relatively even temperature throughout the target area around 10:00 fourth. The researcher has conducted simulation for determining the characteristics of wind speed in accordance with land usage. Result of analyzing wind direction and speed at 10:00 AM and 14:00 PM, the researcher had found that the mild wind blow had not affected the temperature changes severely.
