Abstract |
This study shows the potential of the ubiquitous space by recognizing the structure and the system through organismic analysis for understanding the ubiquitous space paradigm, which is turned out to be obvious trend nowadays. By organismic analysis, we studied the structure and the characteristic of ubiquitous space and concluded the result as follows. First, an organic object has the characteristic of non-linearity and heterogeneity. Second, an organic structure is network, dispersed, non-linear structure and its structure is explained as parts, flows and communications. Third, from the analysis of the example of the organic structure and the structure that is related to the organic structure, the obtained is knot, fold, blob, node and mesh. Forth, the ubiquitous space which has the potential of organic structure is all centric and related to each other and non-linear characteristic. The ubiquitous space that has above characteristic with technical assistance has potential that turned to be massive space design. |
