Abstract |
Recently, for the purpose of reducing term of works and improving performance for construction work, deck plate system integrated with steel wires at a manufactory is widely used in construction field. For practicality, although the simplified 2D analysis and allowable stress design method for steel wire-integrated deck plate system are generally used, the verification for their appropriateness and economical efficiency of such an analysis and design method is required. In this research, experimental tests for eighteen specimens, which are in the same field conditions, are conducted on several parameters such as the depth of slab, the length of span, the diameter of top, bottom and lattice steel wire, and the presence of zinc-coated steel sheets. The comparison of the 2D analysis, the 3D finite element method in elastic range and experimental results is fulfilled for the deflections, the stresses of top and bottom steel wires at the mid-span. |
