| Abstract |
To realize the Barrier Free in urban environment of disabled and aged persons, this study has worked with the object of proposing the standards and elements of planning for the urban park, which is the one of many urban facilities for disabled persons.After a field investigation about 4 urban parks in Osaka, It is found that their concepts of physical planning are based on 'Barrier Free' and the network for accessibility to these parks is well connected with the different methods of public transport. We've extracted some planning elements and examined theirs possibilities to apply on our urban parks. Many of these elements of the planning for BF urban park in Japan will be able to be applied to our urban BF parks in Korea, and finally, the utility of the park for disabled and aged persons, as one of factors of consideration, can make enjoy their life like the others in urban society. |
