| Abstract |
In this study I propose the various using way of the urban beach waterfront as the urban waterfront revitalization , focused since post-industrial age, and analyze the user characteristics of Busan 3 main beaches (Haeundea, Kwoanganri, Songdo beach). This study proceeded with 2 seasonal research(September. 2006, April. 2007) of the activity observations and questionnaires. And I inquire into the beach waterfronts as the public space, providing a beautiful waterside-scape and a recreational space to citizens with great potential. But each beach waterfront overlooks the context of surrounding areas and undersupplies substantial facilities to satisfy user desires and characteristics. I hope further studies make fulfill issues of this surveyed research and also the greater success and use of the beach waterfront get achieved by a detailed research and a considerate process. |
