| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze on the change of the urban structure and it's Landscape Paradigm of Kangwon Kamyoung, center of local government in Kangwon Province during the Japanese imperialism ruling period in Korea. Urbanization of Wonju city is greatly influenced by the readjustment unit, change of land use pattern according to its population growth and transportation system, downtown, settlement. To find out the proto-type of urban form of Wonju city, the sequence on the urbanization of Wonju city by the Japanese imperial ruling policy, historyical approach was used with the data which were obtained by the document since 1860-1945 . The standard map being made in 1914, 1946 were used to remake the urban structure of Wonju. The results of this study were as follows ; The landscap of downtown in Wonju and its surrounding countryside changed their form very slowly, influenced each other under Jungang-street constrution. We could find out the real area of kangwon kamyoung and it's attached office area, understand the reason why it's north side destoried. |
