Abstract In this study, corrosion rates of reinforcing bar in concrete that 7 years are passed after concrete manufacture was investigated and examined the possibility of new concept to measure by non-destructive test. The result is as follow.1) After the common concrete that do not contain chloride passes 7 years, the corrosion rate was gone inappreciably by 5% low. This was analysed what is influenced in the permeability than effect to the cover thickness of concrete. In this case, the corrosion rates of reinforcing bar were accomplishing normal distribution in prescribed W/C in the concrete that experiment, the reason was construed that is because the corrosion rate's range of fluctuation is high responsiveness of corrosion occurrence for outdoor environment decreasing W/C of concrete.2) The amount which a fairly much corrosions rate of reinforcing bar was gone in 10~45% level in experiment condition to contain chloride more than 0.5% of cement weight and the corrosion rate according to increase of the chloride content in concrete.3) The result of devise surface method is examined the reproduction to solved change factor by burdensomeness for reinforcing bar exposure and the function rate which is happened in existent electric potential measurement method, confirmed that possibility is big on practical usage because of coefficient of corelation more than 0.98.In this research, revision of examination data and specific example was described for different view of practical use.
