| Abstract |
A multipurpose room in an apartment is a Korean unique space that accepts living contents come from Korean traditional living customs, that is, an outcome of planning efforts. However, this multipurpose room has been often planned to be moved to the back balcony area or not even planned to be built since the 1990’s on account of the house company’s balcony area extension or private space enlargement strategy responding to the trend that the customers value private space more. As a result, it is pointed out that enlarging floor space to the maximum is only pursued in most cases that either storage space planning or Korean customs are likely to be ignored. This study intends to suggest systematized storage furniture of which functions are the same as the ones of a multipurpose room needed conceptually as well, and that puts a priority on each room’s function not as a concept of floor space enlargement, considering the inner space. Have toward a gauge realizing again necessity of receipt of a utility room by a foundation by these results. |
