| Abstract |
The ultimate purpose of housing determined from the site conditions, economies, safety and convenience is to have a private space as exampled by a single detached house. This means that housing is the place of gathered many different people's desires for their own home in the same place. Thus, we can say that housing is a small city or society, it involves not only individuality but also community. Modern architects, for example Team10 members in 1950's focused on this point with the concept of the relationship between persons, objects. One of the main architectural factors of them was a street. which is not just a road but all the surrounding environs that create spaces for people, where various events happen like in a normal urban street. But it should keep condition of the architecture. In this thesis, the "architectural street" was set to three kinds. They are urban architectural street, compositional architectural street and formative architectural street. This study could be used a reference by architects for housing design. |
