Abstract The market size of demolition of urban facilities are expected to grow rapidly in domestic construction industry because of large demand of rebuilding old and deteriorated city area. While various project management tools are actively applied in new construction projects, there are no effective management techniques for demolition projects. This study identifies risk factors in demolition for site managers to provide a basis of more systematic approach to effectively control the site. Through survey with demotion site managers and engineers, relative importance of each risk factor is established for most activities in demolition site. In addition, based on the relative importance of each factors and the standard deviation, this study proposes how those identified risk factors can be utilized in the site
