Abstract The development of a computer and Internet has changed the society and the economy activity with the human life style. Also, there are raising various changes at a housing environment. According to these changes, ubiquitous housing environments were discussed. This paper presents ways of interpreting the situation in association with human interaction with housing environments. This paper deals with various inference model of architectural components based on a sensor-based context awareness. The research objective is to systematize the context in the ubiquitous housing and suggest a theoretical basis to embody the ubiquitous housing interacting between the House and Human for residents' needs and personalized services. Especially, this paper focuses on the Sensor-based Context Aware Inference System using Pattern Driven Inference, Rule Driven Inference and Case Driven Inference. Through these concepts, this research will suggest how to systematize, control and manage the context in ubiquitous housing environments. Finally, it is expected to offer a theoretical basis to embody the intelligent house and apply an environment design communicating between the computers and human
