Abstract The purpose of this study is to architectural characteristics on the annex of catholic church, Daean-ri, Wonju and to observe originally the spatial composition. It is registered cultural heritage No.140 and located in 659 Daean1-ri, Heungup-myun, Wonju. It was built as a typical Korean style house consisting of 4-span from 1901 to 1906 but extended to 6-span from 1965 to 1966. It was consecrated by Bishop Mutel in 1910, consisting of 6span. It has natural beauty and historical value of Korean style catholic church in 1900's. It has sufficient evidence of distinction between the sexes in catholic church. And it can be to see the architectural characteristics and the spatial composition of early catholic church in Korea particularly.
