| Abstract |
Many cities are growing while their old sections turn into slum. This tendency causes problems such as city emptiness, city infra disutility and so on. Many researchers have tried to come up with various methods to resolve these urban problems. In order to get more satisfied result in urban revitalization, more accurate anticipation is required. This study suggests adapting user cognition method to urban revitalization planning. First of all, 6 aspects (variety, convenience, culture, aesthetics, centrality and inter-change) and 24 items which are derived from them are prepared. When these items are analyzed by AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) and interviewed with Paju city residents, the preference among 6 aspects was figured out. The objective of this study can be adapted to urban planning as evaluating method of users' (city residents') preference prior to actual urban revitalization planning. |
