Abstract |
This study summarizes basic results on the characteristics of the vertical distribution of mean wind pressure, which is needed to estimate reasonable vertical wind load of tall buildings. Aspect ratio of rectangular wind pressure models have been fixed to six and side ratios are changed into 15 type. Wind pressure tests are conducted on the Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel at Kumoh National Institute of Technology. The characteristics of vertical mean wind pressure distribution with respect to various side ratios are analyzed into windward direction and leeward. From these results, empirical formula for distribution of mean wind pressure with respect to height of windward and leeward direction were proposed |
