Abstract The ultimate goal of office space is to maximize the work efficiency through the proper coordination between employees and its space. The function of office space is changing from working space to resting place and even living space in these days. Therefore, in planning and design of office space, much attention is required on the improvement of the office design. The main aim of this study is to suggest materials for the new office building through the analysis and deduction of the harmonizing factors effecting the office environment using the technique of post-occupancy evaluation. This study has found that the importance of such environmental factors is according to managers, employees, age and the type of occupation. Based on the research results, the office building is required positive interests to produce work efficiency as well as a relaxation and comfort place. However, this is not related with the difference of each type of workers in the office buildings.
