Abstract While in the previous year, we have analyzed the general demands for apartment remodeling via online survey, this study is a more specific questionnaire survey and has its focus on an actual remodeled apartment site; the Bangbae Yega Classic, previously known as the Bangbae Gungjeon apartment. The Yega Classic, one of the most recently remodeled apartments, consists of three residential buildings covering 216 housing units making it the largest apartment remodeling project. It is also the most extensively remodeled case as the apartment was renewed not only at the housing units but the landscape design, such as installing underground parking lots and pilotis, as well. The survey was conducted on the occupants, where some resided in the apartment prior to remodeling while others were new to the apartment, by surveying the satisfaction indexes and was further analyzed by interviews. Such results are expected to provide an understanding of the whereabouts apartment remodeling is and indicate the elements where further improvement is due.
