Abstract The process selecting relevant demolition method doesn't escape from traditional usage and conventional experiment comparing with the increase of demolition due to deterioration of buildings and reconstruction. Even though some researches and studies about selecting demolition method have been processed, there are some problems such as lack of total examination and interference of subjective valuation. This study aims to develop the system composed of total and objective analysis in correspondence with building condition, site condition and environmental condition when selecting demolition method. In detail, this study constructed the system, combining various factors and contents to be considered in part of each suitability. Furthermore, this study composed the system based on specialist's evaluation of each work's suitability for selecting demolition method. Finally this study gave the weight which indicates the suitability of considering factors to this system for the purpose of developing optimum system to select suitable demolition method after computing priority number which were passed over in previous studies.
