| Abstract |
This study shows how many civil appeals have been registered; what caused them; and how the city government has dealt with them in Daegu Metropolitan city(8 district offices) from 2001 to 2005. To analyze and compare the cause of civil appeals, investigations on six types of typical civil appeals, such as the invasion of privacy, the conflicts of the right to enjoy sunshine, the infringement of their neighborhoods' space, the correction demands of infringed building and the compensation demands of infringed property rights were conducted. This study found that resolving civil appeals such as arbitrations of each district office, the civic betterments, both-side consultations, damage compensation, subsidized settlements and etc. And this study also analyzed the types and problems of settlement status in Daegu. |
