The construction location of Samaso was mainly within or near a Confucian school. From this, we know that it had been influencing the arrangement formation of Confucian schools during the late Chosun era. Secondly, they were builted near a government office. Mostly, the Honam province's Samaso were builted within or near a Confucian school. But the Yeungnam province's Samaso were builted near a government office. The scale of the Samaso consists of 2~5 Kans (an enclosure with predetermined measurements), and amongst them 4 Kans was mostly adopted. For the floor plan, a structure with the verandah floor in the center and rooms on either side consisting of a 4 Kan frontage was mostly adopted. Samaso's features (in roof, Gong-Po and structure) in Ho-Nam province were more sprendid than those Yeung-Nam province.
