Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to grasp what publicity is in contemporary architecture and how architectural publicity is appeared through public design, and what public design has to intend at this point. To advance these studies, the definition of architectural publicity should be set. Moreover, the policy on public design in advanced countries should be researched through various examples. Public design can be handled at various view point, but public design at architectural view point should be settled because human life is based on publicity constructed by architectural behaviors. Also public design is not only for singular architecture. It designs the places based on human life and public behaviors. The important value of public design is to make sustainable place completed by human behavior. Authentic embodiment of publicity is to give urban identity which archives active behavior and participation of publics. |
