| Abstract |
It is the intention of this research to discuss the concept and meaning of public design and architectural culture and make an approach to ideal directions of the national cultural policies. The term ‘public design' is a compound word which is used to emphasize the publicity of design work, as the term ‘architectural culture' is used to emphasize the cultural values of architecture. Architecture is a part of public design, as public design is an important element of architectural culture. This research paper is written to define the mutual relation between the public design and architectural culture, and discuss the way of advancing together, and finally help the government establish the cultural policies. |
