Abstract |
This study investigated the 7 performance of domestic windows for an apartment house, examined the energy saving effects according to the window thermal performance and estimated the window economical efficiency. As a result of this study, in case of 85 ㎡ standard housing model, annual heat load was decreasing by 10% according to increasing in window shading coefficient to 0.2, fixing window U-value 2.30 W/㎡K and annual heat load was increasing by 38% according to increasing in window U-value to 1.00 W/㎡K, fixing window shading coefficient 0.7. When the window with U-value 2.30W/㎡K was applied to the standard housing model, window expense increased by 43% but cooling and heating energy expense decreased by 16% annually compare with the case using the window with 3.11W/㎡K, consequently it took 14 years to retrieve the additional window expenses with energy saving expense. |
