Abstract |
The many researches have been made on the calculation of the effective strain in destroying time of RC beams strenthened with the FRP composite. And the calculation formula of effective strain by the stiffness of the FRP composite was proposed by the analysis of existing experimental result in design guidelines of each country. But, there seems to be the high possibility in which the reliability lowers on existing evaluation method which evaluates the shear reinforcement performance of the FRP composite, since data of all experimental result was analyzed without the division in forms, reinforcement methods and failure-mode of the FRP composite, etc. Therefore, in this study, data of existing experimental result was analyzed by form, reinforcement method and failure-mode of the FRP composite, and the equation was proposed. And, the experiment on the beam member by the FRP shear reinforcement for examining the validity of the proposed equation was carried out. |
