Abstract |
This study conducted a questionnaire survey and experimental evaluation of the cognitive characteristics for the exterior environment of housing complex after establishing web-based media to convey information by developing a similar housing complex project actually to produce image simulation, 3D animation simulation, and virtual reality simulation in order to examine the simulation media form to increase recognition of the outside space of housing complex and point out the differences in the recognition among the people at large, majors, and producers. The result of the analysis and summary of the contents of experimental evaluation questionnaire survey indicates that, when the computer graphic simulation media techniques(image, 3D animation, and virtual reality simulation) for the cognitive characteristics for the exterior environment of housing complex(the form of entrance, scale, details, floor pattern, finishing materials, perspective, space sense, sense of reality, atmosphere, skyline, landscaping expression, convenience operation, concentration, interest, and form of the complex) were conveyed through the web, the three groups respectively showed a great difference in cognitive characteristics for exterior space recognition according to the 3 simulation types. |
