Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to analyze the problem of designation standards in renewal district caused complications between 'private' resident and 'public' government office, and to explore the direction of improvement in existing codes. In this respect, this study have investigated the litigation case of Dae-dong2 district, Daejeon. And as a study process, on-the-spot whole survey, interview with all concerned, and discuss a problem at the meeting with wide-range veteran professionals were carried. With these process, specific designation standards were established which support existing systems and applied in case district. On the basis of substantial analysis, five issues are raised as major factors of direction for improvement: step up the on-the-spot survey, introduce to open process of the residents participation, manage building's history, draw up a no permit building resister, improve existing codes. |
