| Abstract |
The traditional district of Korea has been well-formed by the repair and reconstruction carried out under the preservation controls in effect. On the other hand, the traditional district has been destroyed gradually by the renovation due to the change of life style. The preservation system for historical environment of Japan was propagated Korea during the colonial period (1910-1945). The purpose of this study is first to clarify and compare the preservation system and present condition of its application for traditional district of Korea and Japan. and then, to consider the features for each other. |
