Abstract |
This paper describes the results from four-point bending tests on laminated glass beams with PVB and SGP flim. The investigated main variables were the type, the thickness and relative positions of the film. The tests results are presented and discussed, focusing on the structural response in terms of shear transfer capacity, ductility and collapse modes. Test results showed that the stiffness and ductility of the laminates glass beam were considerably effected by flim thickness and positions. Finally, An analytical method to estimate the shear-bond stiffness of the laminated glass beam with PVB and SGP flim is presented. |
