Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of Architecture Centers in promoting public awareness and participation in architecture. For this purpose, a case study of the Netherlands Architecture Institute(NAi) has been conducted, which is the largest and most representative architecture center in the Netherlands. The case study was focused on the programs of NAi to promote communication between architecture and the pubic and the collaboration among different actors such as the government, architectural profession and other organizations. The result of the study shows the significant role such architecture center plays in promoting public awareness and participation in architecture and advocates the necessity for such institution.
