Abstract This paper provided proper removal time of the side form of the concrete incorporating fine particle cement(FC) depending on W/C and curing temperature based on strength estimation by equivalent age method. FC contents from 25% to 100%, W/C from 40% to 100% and curing temperature from 5℃ to 35℃ were varied. According to the results, increase of FC content resulted in an increase of compressive strength at early age proportionally, regardless of W/C and curing temperature. Based on strength development analysis by Carino model, good agreement between measured values and calculated ones were obtained. By converting estimation model for compressive strength, decision of proper removal time of concrete incorporating FC were presented as table and equation. As expected, the use of FC as well as decrease of W/C led to reduce removal time of side form considerably. It is confirmed that P type schmidt hammer can be applied to check whether the concrete gains enough strength to removal the side form(5.0 MPa), which is around 55. It is thought that the use of equivalent age method for predicting removal time of the side form are reasonable and for confirming the estimation, P type Schmidt hammer is one of adequate non destructive method.
