Abstract |
The purpose of this research is to analyse and rearrange the evaluation standards of accreditation procedures of architectural programs in Korea which focused on the academic curriculum and its management system. The analysed materials are the application reports and documents for the accreditation procedure of KAAB during last 3 years.(2006. 09-2008.10) The evaluation process is based on substantially qualitative system. It is required that the proper and objective datums to be offered either to programs or site-visit team. However there are still existing different views when preparing and evaluating. The analysed data of this research could be used to setup the system and standards of evaluation process of KAAB and to help architectural programs for preparing the accreditation process. The results of study are as follows; Rejected reasons for application process have been mainly for insufficient curriculum and inadequate management system which are not suitable for a accredited architectural program, In addition, insufficient human, physical, information resources and so on were recommended to improve. |
