| Abstract |
Super elements methods for large structural systems have been reviewed. It is necessary to use subdivided finite elements for accurate analysis of the large structural systems. However it would take significant amount of computational time and memory if the entire spatial structure is subdivided into a finer mesh. Recently, the computing resources and technologies have been expanded so fast that the huge matrices involved in the analysis of structural system can be processed without serious difficulties. For, most users, however, the computer facilities are limited. |
